Today Natashia Telfer is a Canberra-based mum, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and successful businesswoman. She also considers herself a survivor, juggler, perpetual ball-dropper, chaos coordinator, and silver lining seeker. On the surface, many may think Natashia has it all and that it all just came naturally… But behind the scenes, Natashia has had more than her fair share of hardships including kidnapping, child abuse, end-stage 4B cancer, an identity crisis, toxic relationships, eight tumultuous years of IVF, multiple miscarriages, and heartache, post-natal depression, starting up businesses, taking on government agencies, being a perpetual people pleaser yet failing at maintaining friendships and so much more.
In Project Kind Natashia shares her journey, the challenges, the heartache, and discovery as she realizes all the adversities the world could throw at her were an absolute walk in the park compared to overcoming the challenges of the mindset and finding her voice, her worth and her place in the world simply be extending herself the same kindness she shows others and leveling up her life.
Natashia has worked within the healthcare sector for eighteen years in a variety of roles including aged, disability, acquired brain injury, and is now co-founder and director of National Community Care in Canberra. Natashia’s compassion and driving force within the industry began when she was faced with adversity at the age of eighteen when she was diagnosed with stage 4B cancer. Despite the odds, Natashia rose above it, pivoting the trajectory of her life and her purpose.
We are thrilled to include Project Kind in our Hollywood Swag Bags being gifted to nominees honoring Oscar weekend!
